Multilayer
Our flexitanks are fabricated from FDA-compliant, food-grade polyethylene and polypropylene, suitable for a wide range of non-hazardous liquid cargo.
- Beta Tank
A 20-ft bulk liquid liner made from two layers of 125-micron polyethylene, sewn into a woven polypropylene outer layer.
- Gamma Tank
A 20-ft bulk liquid liner made from three layers of 125-micron polyethylene, sewn into a woven polypropylene outer layer.
- Delta Tank
A 20-ft bulk liquid liner made from four layers of 125-micron polyethylene, sewn into a woven polypropylene outer layer.
- Epsilon Tank
A 20-ft bulk liquid liner made from five layers (four layers of 125-micron polyethylene and one layer of 100-micron EVOH barrier film), sewn into a woven polypropylene outer layer.
PP Woven
PP woven is the outer layer of a flexitank, helping to support its structure and stabilize liquid movement. The material is manufactured from food-grade polymers using monomers listed as approved substances under SI 3145 and additives approved under EU Directive 93/3/EC.
- Polyethylene Liner
Fabricated from FDA-compliant, food-grade, five-layer co-extruded tubular film made from a polyethylene-based resin blend.
- EVOH Liner
A specially coated ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) film that provides good gas barrier properties.
Valve
A flexitank valve is a secure connection point for filling and discharging liquids. It provides a tight seal to help prevent leaks and contamination during loading and unloading.
- 3-inch PP Butterfly Flange Valve with Gland
One 3-inch filling flange attached to the main body by a 360-degree impact-welded seal.
- 3-inch PP Butterfly Flange Compression Valve
Fabricated from food-grade polyethylene and supplied with a butterfly valve, an elbow butterfly valve, and a banjo valve.
Bulkhead
A bulkhead is a retaining barrier that keeps a fully loaded flexitank from pushing out of the container. We offer three types of bulkheads.
- Bulkhead A
Made of four steel bars; used with top-load, top-discharge flexitanks.
- Bulkhead B
Made of two steel bars and one steel frame; used with top-load, bottom-discharge and bottom-load, bottom-discharge flexitanks.
- Bulkhead C
Made of two steel frames; compatible with all flexitank types.
Heating Pad
A heating pad is used to liquefy solidified cargo at the point of discharge. It transfers heat through tubes made of extruded EPDM rubber, using wet low-pressure steam as the heat source. The maximum operating temperature is 124°C and the maximum pressure is 300 psi (approx. 20 bar). The unit can be reused provided it is not damaged during return transit.
Insulation Liner
Temperature fluctuations as a container passes through different climates can cause product spoilage or solidification. The insulation liner slows the rate of temperature change, helping the cargo retain its original characteristics as far as possible.
- Easy to handle and install.
- Reduces temperature fluctuation.
- Compatible with ISO shipping containers.
- Helps maintain a stable cargo environment.
Tub Liner
A tub liner is an effective container liner that helps prevent spillage and leakage from flexitanks. Made from 125-micron polyethylene, it acts as a protective layer for the flexitank.
- Leaked cargo can be pumped out of the tub with minimal wastage.
- Losses can be measured by weighing the tub with and without spillage.
- Leakage stays contained, preventing stains and reducing cleaning costs.
- Recyclable and biodegradable.
Heat Exchanger
A heat exchanger is designed to transfer heat efficiently from one medium to another. The media may be separated by a solid wall to prevent mixing, or they may be in direct contact. With a heat exchanger, you can:
- Liquefy solidified cargo evenly.
- Handle cold-weather and low-temperature conditions.
- Achieve quick, energy-efficient heating.
- Minimize heating costs and carbon footprint.
